Through the Keyhole: NSPCC Learning

Continuing our ‘Through the Keyhole’ series, this time we take a peek into the Asset Bank of the NSPCC, the UK’s leading children’s charity who work tirelessly to prevent abuse and facilitate recovery for those who have been victims of abuse.

The NSPCC mission is to ‘transform society for every childhood’ and they are passionate about developing ways to safeguard and recognise warning signs within children to prevent abuse or to stop it early on.

Providing the resources to safeguard children

NSPCC Learning is the NSPCC's online gateway to safeguarding training, services and resources for anyone working or volunteering with children. The NSPCC Learning team commissioned several photoshoots this year to help bring the website’s online content to life for anyone working or volunteering with children and young people.

The importance of images in awareness campaigns

The new photos show adults supervising and supporting children and young people in different environments covering schools, community centres, local parks and in different faith settings.   The team has recently completed a photoshoot in a school for children with special educational needs and disabilities. Each photo reflects one of the many environments that could benefit from completing safeguarding training. Each image helps demonstrate to NSPCC’s online audience that safeguarding is an integral part of the everyday work of anyone working alongside children.
